 The trip for my family Christmas, didn't go exactly as plan.  We ended up renting a Volkswagon (something) a nice car with alot of buttons, which after being in the car for 16 hours I still don't know what a half of them were for.  It had a nice cd player and radio, but no visual way  to  connect a ipod.  It was in the glove box, which makes so much sense (not).   I found it about 400 miles down the road, because I was bored out of my mind.  .  Other than, that the trip went fine .  I really love seeing my family.   My husband had a quiet Christmas day, I recieved a small dvd player and a Mr. Beer maker. It will be interesting to see how that works.  I'll  let  everyone know.   

I travelling to see my family tommorow, for our early Christmas. I have to travel from Huntington, WV to Lititz, Pa about an 8 hours, including lunch.  I have one brother who comes from Florida and a sister that is from NJ.  My mother lives in an RV so she could be coming from anywhere.  I've got all the presents wrapped and ready to stick in the car.  The weather should be good and hopefully there will be no traffic problems.  My husband will do the driving, so I have downloaded 1 episode from each of the following Bablyon 5,  Firefly and Buffy the vampire slayer.  I'll take my DS lite with me and my ipod, so  I think I'm set.  I not see two of my nephews, one because his father is being a pain in the butt, and the other is a marine embassy guard in Latvia.  I have to watch my expectation, though because reality never quite lives up to it.
