I was attempting to reorganize my computer room for the 100th time today.  In order to do that I purchased a new shelving unit.   The kind that can be put together by one person with no tools (according to directions on the box) Yeah right if that person has four arms or is a contortionist.  I did finally get it together after much time and some language, that my grandmother would not have approved of. Then I started to put stuff on it .  I quickly realized I have too many carryon bags or gym bags, especially since I don't fly very often and don't belong to a gym.  A lot of the other stuff is my husband, and with my luck if I threw something of his out, he would start looking for it tomorrow. Even though he hadn't looked at it for five years.   I currently have 3 large boxes of cables or power adapters and cords and one small one.  I would throw some of them out, but I don't know what half of them belong too so I can't.   Will need to see if my local Goodwill takes computer parts or find a local recycling center around here.  The other thing I seem to have collected are cd and floppy disk drives.  I swear, sometimes that there is an alternative world me ( like bizzaro world me) that is saving these things for a reason I don't know, but I need to get rid of them.
